Presentation Description: The purpose of this class is to present an overview of the physics of vacuum and airflow and how they are generated in the use of a typical combination sewer cleaning machine. The presentation will provide building blocks of information beginning with the basics of "What is Air?" and "What is Vacuum?" The class will present how these principles apply to the everyday operation of most combination sewer cleaning equipment as well as the limitations of the vacuum system. This information will allow the operator of the equipment to know his limitations and have the knowledge to modify his current vacuum system to operate at its maximum capacity.
