Sean Hoss

Sean Hoss is the Corrosion Services Engineering Manager in Claremont, California. After attaining a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 2008, Sean joined HDR as a water and wastewater engineer. He worked on engineering design projects and construction management for nine years then responded to the Oroville Dam spillway incident in 2017. That introduced him to condition assessment of concrete structures. He used rope access to descend spillways and inspect their drains. He has applied the same skills to inspect steel reinforced concrete structures for six years.
