Anand Patel is a Water/Wastewater EIT at HDR where he has been working for the past 2 years. Prior to joining HDR, Anand completed his bachelor's degree in civil and environmental engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and his master's degree at Cornell University where he completed research in collaboration with Hampton Roads Sanitation District in Virginia. His professional interest is generally in secondary treatment of wastewater, and more specifically includes wastewater process modelling, biological nutrient removal, and carbon management in wastewater processes. His personal interests include running, hiking, and board games.
