Shawna Rees, Laboratory Director – Ms. Rees obtained a B.S. in Chemistry from U.C. Davis as well as a M.S. in Inorganic Chemistry from U.C. Davis. She has over 18 years environmental analytical laboratory experience. During that time, she gained experience working at the bench, coordinating projects, directing studies, leading laboratory personnel, managing large-scale client programs, assisting with budget development and forecasting as well as maintaining a team of report staff. Ms. Rees has extensive knowledge and expertise in pesticide analysis, analytical chemistry, method development, FIFRA GLP, EPA and EU regulatory guidelines. In early 2016, she joined Caltest as the Technical Director, working with the Laboratory Director to provide technical direction for laboratory services. Late 2016, she accepted the responsibilities of Laboratory Director.
