Chris Ewers, P.E., Principal Engineer and CEO at Ewers Engineering, Inc., has planned and designed civil engineering projects and programs and has provided construction-phase services focused on water, wastewater, and storm water for more than 25 years.
Chris founded Ewers Engineering, Inc. in 2013, a water-focused consulting engineering firm based in Roseville, California, to sustain intelligent, effective water infrastructure development in public agencies. Recognizing the scarcity of water in the West, Chris entered Civil Engineering to take on water challenges. Later, he recognized the 100-year service life objective for facilities depended on incorporating operations and maintenance in that service life. Ewers Engineering incorporates this drive, design, and boots-on-the-ground experience into all of its work.
Chris has been a professional journalist, writing for newspapers and magazines. He can often be found enjoying surface water sources in the high country and volunteering with organizations that help sustain our lands.
